New Security Team

Last year, the Las Sendas Board of Directors prioritized an initiative to review our patrol team and investigate the potential use of a professional security company in our community. With the help of the Security and Safety Committee, Las Sendas has now entered into an agreement with Allied Universal, the leading security and facility services company in North America.
Allied Universal joins us in 2022 — replacing our patrol team — offering proactive security services, cutting-edge technology, and tailored solutions for our beautiful neighborhoods. You might begin to notice our new, talented team of specially trained security advocates patrolling our community. This uniformed team is ready to serve you and your neighbors and is equipped with practical risk mitigation and de-escalation training.
As a former officer with the Phoenix Police Department and Las Sendas Patrol Supervisor, Rich Lang will be partnering with Allied Universal as our community’s Director of Security. He will oversee our new security team’s daily activities, including parking enforcement, enclave vehicle gate maintenance, amenity access systems, and reviewing security logs and trends in Las Sendas.
Additionally, Rich will be working to develop relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement. Together, they will work to produce security and safety awareness programs and partner on safety initiatives as needed.
