Celebrate Safely: Fireworks Prohibited in the Community
Posted on Nov 14, 2025

Residents are permitted and encouraged to celebrate all holidays, provided the celebration doesn’t include fireworks inside the community.

The Las Sendas community borders the Tonto National Forest, which prohibits “Permissible Consumer Fireworks” during stage one or higher fire restrictions.

During a stage one or higher fire restriction, all fireworks, including Permissible Consumer Fireworks, are prohibited within one mile of any national forest.

Over the past few years, the wildfire risk has been a concern for many Las Sendas residents and the Board of Directors. As such, the Board passed the rule prohibiting all fireworks to help protect the health, safety, and welfare of the owners and residents by reducing the risk of fire in the community. Additionally, but less critically, the prohibition helps minimize noise, nuisance, and debris that may be caused by using fireworks.

Thank you and your family for keeping Las Sendas safe while celebrating events and holidays!
