2026 Strategic Planning Update

Over the past few months, the Board of Directors has been meeting to update the Association’s strategic plan. So far, the Board has established five new strategic goals and defined success for each. The Board wants to share these items with the community.
Strategic Goal: Provide responsive, transparent resident service
- How do we know we’ve succeeded?
- A strong, resident-centered communication approach that keeps the community informed, combats misinformation, delivers responsive service, and continually evaluates performance to strengthen trust and satisfaction between residents, the Board, and management.
Strategic Goal: Cultivate a safe and secure environment for residents and community partners.
- How do we know we’ve succeeded?
- A community where residents feel safe, respected, and well informed, supported by clear expectations, visible safety measures, consistent and proportionate responses, and a culture of civility that prioritizes prevention, comfort, and accountability.
Strategic Goal: Preserve and enhance the harmony with the beautiful desert environment.
- How do we know we’ve succeeded?
- A beautifully maintained, water-wise community with awe-inspiring desert landscapes, well-kept trails, and intentional, consistent care that preserves and enhances its natural connection to the national forest.
Strategic Goal: Build a strong financial position for now and the future through disciplined and balanced resource management.
- How do we know we’ve succeeded?
- A financially strong, transparent, and well-stewarded community that invests wisely, plans collaboratively, and uses every dollar to protect long-term value and deliver meaningful benefits to residents.
Strategic Goal: Elevate Las Sendas’ market position to support long-term desirability for residents and future residents.

- A forward-looking, family-focused community that modernizes design, eases home improvement, strengthens amenities, and advocates for quality of life—creating a connected place where residents feel proud to live and grow.
What’s next?
Over the next few months, the Board will establish key results and initiatives aligned with the strategic goals. These discussions take place in workshops open to residents.
